In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to tie a Single-Strand Diamond Knot and why I love keeping one at the end of every coil of cord or rope. I’ll also show you several practical uses where this knot becomes a simple problem-solving tool — making it easier to secure rope around objects, create non-slip or slip loops, add extra security to knots like the Bowline or Reef Knot, and even make a simple knot-and-loop bracelet or knife lanyard.
