Disney Stars on Parade is the main daytime parade at Disneyland Park and premiered on 26th March 2017 as part of the Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary celebrations. The parade replaced Disney Magic on Parade!, which had run from 2012 until March 2017, and brings together Disney and Pixar characters, themed floats, dancers and music from films spanning several generations.
The parade begins near "it's a small world" in Fantasyland before travelling towards Central Plaza and Sleeping Beauty Castle, continuing along Main Street, U.S.A. and finishing at Town Square. Its different sections represent Disney stories including Toy Story, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Peter Pan, Finding Nemo, Sleeping Beauty and Frozen alongside Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other classic Disney characters.
Among the parade's centrepieces is the large mechanical Maleficent dragon inspired by Sleeping Beauty, which breathes fire as it travels through Disneyland Park. Other floats feature Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Slinky Dog from Toy Story, Simba and characters from The Lion King and The Jungle Book, Peter Pan and Captain Hook, Finding Nemo characters, Disney Princesses and a Frozen finale featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff.
The parade is accompanied by its main theme, Lost in the Magic, together with music associated with the films represented by each unit. Disney parades have been part of Disneyland entertainment since the original Disneyland opened in California in 1955, with each Disney resort developing its own productions, floats and entertainment based around Disney characters and stories.
Disneyland Park opened as Euro Disneyland on 12th April 1992 and is the original theme park at Disneyland Paris. The park consists of Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, centred around Sleeping Beauty Castle, Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant. Parades and seasonal processions have remained a major part of the entertainment programme throughout the park's history.

Meeting Peppa Pig, George Pig, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and Baby Evie is one of the highlights of a visit to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park. Located outside Madame Gazelles School House, this popular character meet and greet gives guests the chance to enjoy hugs, high fives, waves and memorable photographs with the Pig family in the heart of the worlds first Peppa Pig Theme Park.
Peppa Pig first appeared on television in 2004 and follows the everyday adventures of Peppa Pig, George Pig, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. In 2025, the Pig family welcomed Baby Evie, bringing an exciting new chapter to the Peppa Pig television series.
Peppa Pig World opened in April 2011 as the worlds first Peppa Pig Theme Park, officially known as Paultons Park, Home of Peppa Pig World.
The themed land features nine rides including

Il Trenino di Nonno Pig is a junior train ride located in Peppa Pig Land at Gardaland Resort. Opened in 2018 and manufactured by IE Park, Il Trenino di Nonno Pig or Grandpa Pigs Little Train takes guests on a gentle journey through scenes inspired by the Peppa Pig TV series.
The ride departs from the Peppa Pig Land station, travelling past Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig enjoying a picnic, continuing around Windy Castle, one of the recognisable locations from the series, before returning to the station. The track guided layout allows guests to focus on the themed environment, character scenes and bright colourful setting throughout the ride.
Il Trenino di Nonno Pig is part of Peppa Pig Land at Gardaland Resort, a themed area based entirely on the Peppa Pig TV series. Other attractions in Peppa Pig Land at Gardaland include La Mongolfiera di Peppa Pig (Peppa Pig Balloon Ride), a balloon ride offering views across the area, L’Isola dei Pirati, (Grandad Dogs Pirate Boat Ride) a themed boat ride, and La Casa di Peppa Pig (Peppa Pigs House), where guests can walk through the Pig family home and meet and greet with characters form the Peppa Pig TV series.
Peppa Pig Land recreates locations and characters from the series with themed buildings, bright colours and interactive experiences. The Peppa Pig brand has expanded into multiple theme park attractions worldwide. Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park features Grandpa Pig’s Little Train, offering a similar train ride experience through themed scenes.
Peppa Pig Land is also present at Heide Park, continuing the expansion of Peppa Pig themed areas across Europe. At Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, the attraction lineup differs with rides such as Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster replacing the train ride format with a small family coaster.
Gardaland Resort is one of Europe’s most visited theme park resorts, located near Lake Garda in northern Italy. Gardaland Park features roller coasters including Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado, Shaman and Mammut, alongside water rides such as Fuga da Atlantide and Jungle Rapids, and dark rides including Jumanji The Adventure and Animal Treasure Island.
The wider Gardaland Resort also includes LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland and Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, along with themed accommodation at Gardaland Hotel, Gardaland Adventure Hotel and Gardaland Magic Hotel, creating a multi attraction resort experience in Italy.

The Saw The Ride store is a compact but well-stocked gift shop located near the entrance to Saw The Ride at Thorpe Park. The shop is filled with official Saw-branded merchandise including t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, pin badges, horror-themed souvenirs, and collectibles featuring the infamous Billy the Puppet and Jigsaw from the Saw Movie franchise. With products inspired by the Saw coaster and the Saw movie franchise, this store is a must-visit for horror fans and thrill-seekers. Merlin Annual Pass holders can claim discounts by showing their pass at checkout.
Saw The Ride opened at Thorpe Park on 14th March 2009 and holds the title of the world’s first roller coaster themed to a horror film franchise. Developed in partnership with Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures, the ride was manufactured by Gerstlauer and is a custom Euro-Fighter model. Saw The Ride features a 100-degree drop from 100 feet, three inversions, and a series of intense indoor and outdoor elements. The attraction begins with a dark ride section that plunges riders into a world of traps and terror, perfectly capturing the twisted spirit of the Saw films before launching them into a high-speed coaster experience.
The ride is themed around the infamous Saw movie series created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell. The franchise began in 2004 and quickly became one of the most successful horror series of all time, known for its psychological tension, deadly games, and moral choices. The films centre around the Jigsaw Killer, who traps victims in elaborate scenarios that test their will to survive. Saw The Ride brings this chilling concept to life, immersing guests in the disturbing world of Jigsaw with scenes, props, and effects pulled straight from the Saw films.
Thorpe Park, based in Surrey and operated by Merlin Entertainments, is one of the UK’s top theme parks, known for its record-breaking roller coasters and intense thrill rides.
Recent updates include the closure of Rumba Rapids during the 2026 season with no replacement announced. Work is ongoing on The Launchpad, the redevelopment of the former Amity Beach area into a new space with seating, shaded areas and additional guest facilities, continuing investment across Thorpe Park.

ZUFARI at Chessington World of Adventures Resort combines a safari park animal experience with an off road adventure ride. Opened in March 2013 as part of Chessington’s wider Wild Adventure expansion, Zufari takes guests deep into the 22 acre Wanyama Reserve aboard rugged safari trucks, travelling through African inspired landscapes filled with incredible animals including Rothschild’s giraffes, Southern White Rhinos, Grevy’s zebras, ostriches and more.
Located near Chessington’s Safari Hotel and Azteca Hotel, Zufari is themed around the fictional A.C.R.E. team, short for African Conservation Research and Exploration, who guide guests into a newly discovered African reserve. The experience includes educational wildlife encounters as guests journey across rough terrain, navigate obstacles and eventually encounter an unexpected blocked path that forces the safari truck into a dramatic cave detour complete with lighting and special effects.
Animal sightings on Zufari can vary from ride to ride, as the animals roam freely throughout the reserve and may choose different locations depending on weather and time of day. Chessington also offers VIP safari experiences for guests looking for even closer encounters with giraffes and other reserve animals.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort is one of the UK’s leading family attractions, combining over 40 rides and attractions with a zoo, SEA LIFE centre and resort hotels. Popular rides include Vampire, Mandrill Mayhem, Dragon’s Fury, Tiger Rock, Croc Drop, The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure and Room on the Broom
World of PAW Patrol officially opened in May 2026, bringing the world of Adventure Bay to Chessington with exciting new family attractions including Chase’s Mountain Mission, Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, and Rubble and Rocky’s Playzone.
Looking ahead, Minecraft World is set to open in 2027, replacing Wild Asia with a fully immersive Minecraft themed land. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror opened at Disneyland Paris on 22nd December 2007 and remains one of the parks most popular attractions. This freefall dark ride combines Disney storytelling with thrilling drop sequences inside the mysterious Hollywood Tower Hotel, where guests discover the fate of five people who vanished during a supernatural lightning storm in 1939.
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is inspired by Rod Serlings classic television series The Twilight Zone, which originally aired between 1959 and 1964, blending science fiction, mystery, fantasy and psychological suspense
Tower Hotel Gifts is located in World Premiere Plaza, the entertainment district of Disney Adventure World inspired by the glamour of Hollywood premieres. The area is home to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Flying Carpets Over Agrabah (Les Tapis Volants), Disney Theater productions and seasonal entertainment, while also serving as the gateway to Adventure Way, World of Frozen, World of Pixar and Avengers Campus.
Disney Adventure World is the second theme park at Disneyland Paris in Chessy, France. Originally opening on 16th March 2002 as Walt Disney Studios Park, the park was reimagined and officially renamed Disney Adventure World on 15th May 2026 following a major multi-year transformation.
