Yes, some of you have seen this already but this now works perfectly in 1.6.2. Instead of shaking left to right you almost glide smoothly :D At 20m/s. ALSO:

The wiring at the bottom was just my first try, dont worry ;) And if the water blade is too slow for you, you can just hide wiring somewhere behind a wall or so.
Also: I hit 10 000 VIEWS on my 2x6 elevator o.O wow never expected that!

Yup, I doubt there will ever be a 20m/s piston elevator which is more compact, the 4x4 being the most compact working in general, the 4x6 the most compact without torches and no redstone showing!
