Secrets in tabletop roleplaying games, like Dungeons & Dragons, can be very dangerous and toxic, or very potent sources of awesome stories. But what kinds of secrets in TRPGs are the good kind? And which secrets in TRPGs are the bad kind? Also, we put forth that there is a difference between the player having knowledge of a secret in a D&D game, and their character knowing that same secret.
