Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

1. Why do you keep skipping enemies and treasure chests?
It was mostly done to try and keep the video shorter. Some enemies can be annoying to kill so I skip them. Most of the treasure chests contain items that I don't need or traps so I skip most of them.

2. What is levelling up?
Levelling up is a common term used in games like this. Levelling up is when you spend time killing extra enemies that you didn't have to kill to gain money and experience. This increases your characters' levels and that gives you benefits such as more health and magic points, stronger attacks and better defense.

3. How do you get the girl before the sprite?
After leaving Potos Village at the start, walk to the Water Palace instead of using the Cannon Travel and then talk to Dyluck's soldiers until they leave. On the way to Gaia's Navel, the girl will rescue you when you get captured by goblins. When you get to Pandora, go north-east to the castle and you will meet her in there. Watch 0:08:00-0:15:00 of this video for that part.

4. Where is the Sea Hare's Tail?
After you get Flammie, fly to the small island to the south of Kakkara. Go up to the shop and he will give you the Sea Hare's Tail for free. Watch 3:42:30-3:43:00 of this video for that part.

5. Where is the Moogle Belt?
After you get Flammie, get the Sea Hare's Tail and then fly north to Kakkara and land in the town there. Talk to one of the men at the top and they will exchange your Sea Hare's Tail for the Moogle Belt. Watch 3:43:50-3:44:10 of this video for that part.

6. Where is the Midge Mallet?
After you get Flammie, go back to the Dwarf's Village in Gaia's Navel. Go downstairs and talk to the man standing near the Underground Palace entrance. Talk to him and he will give you the Midge Mallet for free. Watch 3:49:30-3:49:50 of this video for that part.

7. Where can I find a map for this game?
Search for 'Secret of Mana Map' on Google Images.

Extra Notes:

- I wanted to try and keep the video as short as I could so I skipped a lot of enemies during this run however I would recommend killing every enemy you see except for any that you find really annoying and difficult to kill. This caused me problems on this run because I was low on money at several points in the game and couldn't always afford the best armour and because my characters' levels were lower, my health and magic points were lower too.

- I would recommend levelling up a lot more than I do in this run. You can also level up on your magic to get your elementals up to a higher level which gives you stronger magic spells. There is a limit to how much you can level up on your magic and it depends on how many Mana seeds you have got up to that point. For example, if you have got four Mana seeds then you can't get your magic levels higher than level 4.

- The best way of levelling up is to find the strongest enemies you can at that point in the game and to kill them continuously. The stronger the enemy is then the more money and experience you will probably get from killing them.

- I don't always buy the best armour even when I can afford it. I am often low on money because I skipped a lot of enemies and didn't do much levelling up so I save my money to buy better armour later on if the next part of the game is quite easy to complete.

- There are a few rings/gloves which give you better attacks such as the Power Wrist whilst most of them give you better defence. You will see me keep my Power Wrists for a long time on this run because I wanted to have stronger attacks.
