A very sombre, yet warm take on "A Wish..." from Secret of Mana by yours' truly. I made it in Dec 2020 for the Meat 'n Potato's competition, Round 120, but stalled in posting it...for some reason that escapes me. Well, I guess that's a good thing, as I hadn't concocted anything new for this December so hurrah for laziness - I mean - good fortune! (Well, I brushed it up a bit before posting, so it wasn't a total lazy-post hehe)

Metroid Prime 3 was the least favourite of mine in the Prime Trilogy, but it has some of the best music themes, ironically. As well as some awesome cutscenes and epic battles (like Rundas). Personally, Id prefer a GC or Switch Pro Controller over the Wii Mote hahaha.

Finally, I got around to getting this ReMix closer to my original intent, as my sound library wasnt quite up to snuff. The E/Q is still kinda 90s wall-of-sound quality, but its just too much work for me to go through 50 different instrument tracks just to perfectly balance them all. Dark Samus bass is very thicc. And mildly acidic. Im sure Samus can handle it though. Probably.
Mike Norvak covered the bulk of notation, the E-Guitar*, Prime-ish bell, reed, some of the choir synths, the gating and sidechaining, the glitching SFX, and final mix/EQ. And I covered the atmospheric pads, the drums, the bass, brass and choirs, as well as some additional arrangement work. So I think we made a pretty good team.

Made this remix at MnP131. E/W Composer Cloud was being a bit janky with my PC, but I think I did an OK job with it. Had to modulate a lot of the volumes for that Voices of Opera. Gonna have to come back to this one later. Might need to render the operatic bits separately. Not sure whats causing the Release on the Soprano Singer to not work all the time. Probably see an update to this one sooner than later.
