In this video, I walk through some really useful Power BI visual design tips that can make your reports cleaner, more interactive, and much more insightful. We cover data bars using conditional formatting, custom tooltips in Power BI, report page tooltips, HTML card visuals, Claude with Power BI, dynamic format strings, and a smart way to make table and matrix visuals look a lot better.
You’ll learn how to create an exclusive data bar column in a table visual, how to build both standard and fully customized tooltip pages, how to show top 5 products inside a tooltip, how to use an HTML visual in Power BI to build cleaner KPI cards, and how to apply custom DAX formatting to make measures more meaningful. These are small changes, but they can make a big difference in Power BI dashboard design and Power BI report development.
