This shows how to get past this room of the Water Temple without Hookshot. This trick means, that we can get Longshot in a low% NMS run without actually having the Hookshot.
We would need Longshot to clear the Fire Trial without Hover Boots and Goron Tunic.
I needed about 29 Bombchus to get past this room and in my video about the next room, I needed about 3 Bombchus, what means 32 Bombchus. 3 Chus too much :(
I have a theory to clear the next with just one Bombchu, then getting the Longshot without Hookshot is finally possible in a low% No Major Skip Speed Run.
When you're standing in midair and normal ground you can't stand on like the one in this video, you can't move anymore, because the game thinks you're actually standing on the ground and normally you can't move on a ground like that ;)
So you have to wait until a moving platform is under you, then you can Hover again!
