Two different angles of a one-minute 'Alert' test of our recently-purchased Secomak GP1 '"Syren".

Siren Information:
This is a fine example of a circa-1980 Secomak GP1 "Syren", which we purchased off eBay for a fair price, in essentially as-built condition. We knocked out one of the blanking plugs, and wired it for 240v 1amp Mains Electric operation using two-core wire. The manufacturer's documentation states that this siren will output a 950Hz sound, which is 121dB at one metre away. A sound level of 60dB is present at approximately 0.683miles away in ideal conditions.
These two tests were conducted indoors, and whilst audible outside, the sound of the siren was not particularly noticeable due to the walls of my house.
