Seattle mayoral candidate Katie Wilson is running scared. After the Rainier Avenue Radio debate, I tried to get a response from her about recent controversies lingering over her campaign.
Instead of stopping to talk, Wilson's goons ran interference and one of her volunteers assaulted me. This is straight up amateur hour and her inexperience handling media pressure is clearly showing.
The 350 pound obese tub of lard is Jamie Fackler. As I tried to get closer to Wilson for comment, he came up from behind me on the sidewalk and shoved me into the street. I know Wilson's campaign volunteer captured this incident with his camera. As usual, I will be proven right again if they choose to release it.
Fackler ran for Seattle City Council District 2. But he got annihilated in the primary. He's now supporting Wilson's campaign.
As for Wilson's controversies, one of her endorsers(Andrew Ashiofu) is accused of making vile remarks about Charlie Kirk's assassination. Check out this entire thread.
She's also being called a liar and "Shady Katie" by prominent Black leaders after she allegedly posted false endorsements on her digital platforms.
This also brings into focus her alleged connection to Antifa. At a recent rally, the militants ran security for her and prevented me from asking questions about a story.
Finally, former D2 Seattle Councilmember Tammy Morales is also part of Wilson's team.
She gave me the middle finger. I guess she didn't want to talk about her failed public policies.
Not sure if it's inexperience or entitlement, but Wilson's team thinks they are only obligated to correspond with journalists over email.
Problem is, they never respond to my requests for comment. So I have to pop up at these public events to hold these people accountable.
