Things that I have yet to figure out is:
1. What seeds to cut out in order to have 2-3 left after D3
2. Which Gold Ore is the fastest to dig up
3. What seeds are the fastest to use after buying them from the shop
Other things to note is buying the Shield on the same shop trip as Star Ore.
