What is van life like in Iceland? Where are the best places to visit? Is it worth renting a 4x4? For us, going to the remote areas of this beautiful country was the best part of having this incredible off-roading vehicle. If you do find yourself in Iceland, make sure to go to Landmannalaugar and visit the ladies at the Mountain Mall and check out the incredible natural hot pot at the campgrounds (their instagram is @mountain_mall_landmannalaugar)

Also, before I forget, we wanted to say thank you again to Lou’s cousin Tim and his wife Rike for letting us borrow their G-Wagon and return it to Germany for them (after 2 weeks of overlanding through Iceland of course!) And thanks to ORC for the incredible job they did with the van conversion.
