Bald eagles spend their winters in Texas, and Lake Buchanan is one of the best places in the state to find them. As part of my year-long journey visiting every Texas state park, I took a side quest to the Vanishing Texas River Cruise's Eagle Season Tour near Inks Lake and Longhorn Cavern in the Texas Hill Country.
