For writer/director Sean Baker, moviemaking becomes a chance to learn about different places and communities. His latest film is the Palme d’Or-winning "Anora," about a sex worker who marries the son of a wealthy Russian oligarch. Ahead of its release this month, Baker spoke with AP entertainment journalist Krysta Fauria about avoiding caricatures when creating characters, some of the films that influenced "Anora" — and the types of stories he thinks Hollywood needs more of. #anora #seanbaker
