A playthrough of Sea Search, published by Mark Data Products for the IBM PC in 1984.

Sea Search (originally titled Sea Quest) was written by Bob Whithers and Stephen O'Dea and released by Mark Data Products for the TRS-80 CoCo in 1983.

Like Colossal Cave (and many other early adventures) the objective is to find treasures and return them to a specific location.

The title was made available for the IBM PC in 1984. The same year Sierra On-Line released its first title in its long-running King's Quest series, setting completely new standards for the adventure game genre, turning games like Sea Search more or less obsolete overnight.
