Short film showing how to re time the Rolls-Royce Griffon 58 when fitting CRM assemblies from a Sea Griffon 101. Mk58 inlet valves open at 32 degrees before TDC and the Sea Griffon at 16 degrees before, so the new cam must be timed 16 degrees later.
The timing marks are put on by myself. There are no timing marks on the CRM`s of either engine in service.
