I've encountered the "it's true for me" argument many times, but this encounter with this young Christian woman was a particularly strong example. It didn't seem that any of my questions or examples to illustrate the potential dangers of this epistemic relativism had any lasting impact on her.

Please give me your thoughts in the comments below and I will try my best to experiment with some of the more promising suggestions in future discussions.

Note: This video was originally uploaded with the young woman's face and name intact, but was removed after she asked.

As a courtesy, I immediately privatized the original video and re-uploaded this edited version the very next day with her appearance blurred and name censored.

Mistakes:

In hindsight, my "jumping off the bridge" example may have been more effective if I added that her brother truly believed his God told him to do it.

I also wish we had spent more time discussing the differences between opinion, perception, and truth.
