Synopsis :
On Widow’s Bay Island, something isn’t quite right. Tom Loftis, the mayor, is desperately trying to revive his struggling community. There’s no Wi-Fi, the cell service is unreliable, and the superstitious residents believe their island is cursed. Tom Loftis wants to be respected, but he isn’t. The residents think he’s too nice and a coward—which is true. But Tom is determined to build a better future for his son and turn the island into a tourist destination. Miraculously, he succeeds, and tourists finally start arriving—but unfortunately for him, the residents were right: after decades of calm, the old stories that seemed too absurd to be true are resurfacing.
