Kevin Smith returned to Hall H on July 25, 2026, for his annual San Diego Comic-Con appearance, blending announcements, personal stories and audience Q&A instead of a traditional studio showcase. During the 90-minute panel, he revealed a new Jay and Silent Bob video game, confirmed additional Marvel comic projects, announced a 20th-anniversary 4K SteelBook edition of Clerks II, and teased both a new film scheduled to shoot in November 2026 and a book planned for 2027.
The biggest reveal was Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture, a cozy farming and business-management game developed with Nitrate Games. Players will restore a backyard operation, visit locations such as the Quick Stop, RST Video and Mooby’s, and meet familiar View Askewniverse characters. A Steam release is expected in late spring 2027.
Smith also confirmed that Marvel has commissioned two additional Jay and Silent Bob crossover stories following Jay & Silent Bob: Jays of Future Past. While no details about the heroes, artists or release dates were disclosed, the announcement underlined the success of the first collaboration.
