San Diego, The Ultimate Skybox at DiamondView Tower, July 23 2026
During San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Hasbro welcomed invited guests to its annual press preview at the Ultimate Skybox in DiamondView Tower. Overlooking Petco Park and downtown San Diego, the event offered an early look at collectibles scheduled for release between fall 2026 and summer 2027.
The presentation brought together some of the world’s most recognisable franchises, including Street Fighter, The Legend of Zelda, KPop Demon Hunters, Ghostbusters, G.I. Joe, Tomb Raider, Transformers, My Little Pony, Polly Pocket and Marvel.
One of the biggest announcements was Hasbro’s first collection of six-inch figures inspired by the 2026 live-action Street Fighter movie. The opening wave includes Chun-Li, Ken Masters, Ryu and Akuma, with detailed articulation, interchangeable parts and visual effects recreating their signature attacks.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film is set in 1993 and follows Ryu and Ken after Chun-Li recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament. The cast features Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li and WWE superstar Joseph Anoa’i, better known as Roman Reigns, as Akuma.
Chun-Li, Ken and Ryu are priced at approximately $27.99 each, while the larger Akuma figure costs $39.99. Accessories include alternate heads and hands, as well as Lightning Kick, Hadoken and energy effects. The figures are scheduled for October 1, shortly before the movie’s American theatrical release on October 16, 2026.
Hasbro also revealed Heroes of Hyrule, a new collection created under licence from Nintendo and based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The first wave features Link, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf, with each figure offering more than 20 points of articulation.
Link comes with the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, Zonai power hand and a fabric cape. Zelda includes the Decayed Master Sword, while the imposing Ganondorf stands more than 7.5 inches tall and carries a Gloom Sword with its scabbard. Link and Zelda will cost $27.99 each, while Ganondorf will retail for $42.99. The collection is expected in spring 2027.
Another highlight was the KPop Demon Hunters Rumi Sain-Geom Premium Electronic Sword. Inspired by the Four Tiger sword carried by Rumi, leader of HUNTR/X, this elaborate replica contains more than 50 LEDs and produces lighting and sound effects activated by movement.
The rechargeable sword can also react to music and singing. It comes with a translucent purple display stand decorated with the HUNTR/X logo. Priced at $224.99, it is scheduled for a broader retail release on July 1, 2027.
For fans of The Real Ghostbusters, Hasbro celebrated the animated series with the Kenner Classics Janine Melnitz and Louis Tully set. Priced at $46.99, the package includes two five-inch figures, companion ghosts, Proton Packs, wands and energy streams inspired by the original Kenner toy line.
The company also presented Ecto-Plazms, a $89.99 Hasbro Pulse exclusive containing 12 mystery cans. Each can holds six two-inch figures, giving collectors 72 randomised minifigures in a complete tray. The assortment includes the Ghostbusters, Janine, Slimer and numerous ghosts available in six colours, including glow-in-the-dark versions. Both Ghostbusters products are planned for fall 2026.
One of the most surprising collaborations places Lara Croft in the six-inch G.I. Joe Classified Series. Created with Crystal Dynamics, the figure imagines the famous Tomb Raider joining the G.I. Joe team for a mission on Cobra Island.
Presented on a retro-style cardback, Lara comes with 16 accessories, including an alternate head, climbing axes, backpack, grappling hook, bow, arrow, quiver and removable bandolier. Hasbro even included the Dagger of Xian from Tomb Raider II, connecting Lara’s modern appearance to her video-game history. The figure is priced at $44.99 and is scheduled for fall 2026.
Transformers fans discovered one of Megatron’s most unusual transformations yet. The 6.75-inch Transformers Icons Megatron changes from robot mode into a three-dimensional Decepticon symbol in 27 steps. It includes a blaster and a special stand for displaying the completed emblem.
Hasbro also introduced Deluxe Class Sky Guard and Autobot Breakaway. Both figures transform from robots into jets and can connect to the separately sold Superion frame to create Nexus Maximus. Megatron is expected in fall 2026, while Sky Guard and Breakaway are planned for spring 2027.
The Polly Pocket My Little Pony Compact brings Hasbro and Mattel together in a colourful crossover. The $33 heart-shaped compact opens to reveal a miniature Dream Castle complete with a stable, waterfall, sea-pony lake and rainbow slider.
Micro Polly is joined by Glory and Firefly, two ponies with brushable tails. The compact also hides a rainbow comb and includes a jumping hoop that can be worn as a ring. Its release is scheduled for fall 2026.
