Craftastrophe | Sculpting a Samurai Robot Killer! @CajunCraftastrophe | Uploaded August 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Today I am getting back to my original crafting love: Sculpting. I had a sketch of a robot samurai laying about, so I decided to try and create him in clay. Specifically, Super Sculpey polymer clay and Apoxie Sculpt. I also experimented with creating some billowing fabric. I used real fabric as the base and a combination of Mod Podge, Super Glue, and Liquid Plastic Resin. I am excited with the results and I'll definitely be using this technique again. I hope that you'll be able to figure out a way to incorporate this into your sculptures too!
My Samurai Robot Killer, also know as REG 2-3, hunts down and takes out any rogue robots or AI's who have violated Asimov's three laws of robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
