Notes from this video:
Ontology : "What there is"
- Categorisation of your phenomena
- Reduction base has to be a (category of your) phenomena
- Structuring the rest of your pohenomena, FROM THAT BASE
Ontology is a solipsist endeavor
you cannot bring in ANYTHING given (because given needs an "Ontology")
- NO IMAGINATION
- No other philosophy
- No presuppositions
- No epistemology / ethics ...
- No science
- No other realm
- Nothing but your phenomena
Metaphysics comes AFTER establishing ontology
- It is "Could there be something beyond phenomena"
- Only by axiom, no "ontology" possible obviously
Look out for
- wishful thinking (I really like the way this great philosophy of mine is going)
- caught up in abstractions (In-sperince becomes an external world)
- narrative (it fits with the BS mommy force-fed me)
- psychology (it makes me feel god, mental safespace)
- bias (undisclosed proto-ontology)
- Circularity, contradiction, equivocation ... (bad meta-philosophy)
