How to create a scrolling platformer on scratch - I have created a good scrolling platformer game that you guys might enjoy making / playing - and now I'm going to recreate it from the beginning in Scratch in a series of YouTube videos. (Next Video: youtu.be/EKJ3RvjpyF4)
Although this was made in Scratch 2, it works great in Scratch 3, but just be aware at the time of writing there is a bug in Scratch 3 that means that the first level (the simple straight line one) does not appear in the game. To fix this, just make sure the line is NOT absolutely straight, or use the rectangle tool, or just add more elements to your level costume :)
This one ends with not a lot achieved - but sets us up very well for the creation of the rest of the project, so come back soon for the next part where we will add in the platformer physics.

This game became by famous 'Generic Red' platformer that you can find on my scratch profile, and this tutorial has had quite a bit of success as I have already noted three projects being front paged that have followed this tutorial :).
