Join Exail for this case study investigating the application of autonomous platforms in ocean sciences and fisheries research, spanning from remote bathymetric surveys in the Pacific Ocean to assessments of offshore wind farm sites along the Atlantic coast of the United States. They will present findings from two case studies: first, a multi-vehicle operation that involved mapping the seabed and remotely controlling underwater vehicles for mid-water column sampling; second, a 20-day remote autonomous survey utilizing SeapiX 3D multibeam echosounders, EK80 single beam echosounders, and ADCP systems.
