Hey, folkzzz. This video was a part of a larger thing I had going on, but I decided to split it all up because of length and time. Plus, I had some ideas that I wanted to explore and get creative with. Literally, I looked at my shirt. Saw the potential for a theme and jumped from there. Y'all know how I WE DO over here.

Anyway, many hugs and lots of love to all those who come around and cut up with me. Be happy. Smile. Love yourself. And don't be afraid to have fun. And they're either with you or against you and you know the difference and what to do. BOOM!

Well, books mentioned in the video (Amazon affiliate links):

1. Thieves' Paradise by Eric Jerome Dickey @ amzn.to/2PW72Yc

Twenty-five-year-old Dante Brown is down and out in L.A. After doing a stretch of hard time in juvenile jail, he cleaned up his act as a computer techie-only to be laid off when the economy went south. Now he's facing a mountain of unpaid bills, a car on its last legs, imminent eviction, and a snowball's chance in hell with Pam, a sexy waitress/actress on the hunt for a man with means.

2. 11/22/63 by Stephen King @ amzn.to/2NshZiI

It begins with Jake Epping, a thirty-five-year-old English teacher in Lisbon Falls, Maine, who makes extra money teaching GED classes. He asks his students to write about an event that changed their lives, and one essay blows him away—a gruesome, harrowing story about the night more than fifty years ago when Harry Dunning’s father came home and killed his mother, his sister, and his brother with a sledgehammer. Reading the essay is a watershed moment for Jake, his life—like Harry’s, like America’s in 1963—turning on a dime.

3. In the Meantime by Iyanla Vanzant @ amzn.to/2Crp7Fq

You know where you want to be, but you have no clue how to get there. You know exactly what you want in life, but what you want is nowhere in sight. Perhaps your vision is unclear, your purpose still undefined. On top of it all, your relationships, particularly your romantic relationships, are failing. If these scenarios feel familiar way down in the deepest part of your gut—then you, my dear, are smack dab in the middle of the meantime.

4. The Power is Within You by Louise Hay @ amzn.to/2WUDPhC

In The Power Is Within You, Louise L. Hay expands her philosophies of loving the self through:-learning to listen and trust the inner voice;-loving the child within;-letting our true feelings out;-the responsibility of parenting;-releasing our fears about growing older;-allowing ourselves to receive prosperity;-expressing our creativity;-accepting change as a natural part of life;-creating a world that is ecologically sound where it's safe to love each other'-and much more.

5. A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown @ amzn.to/32r0V0z

Orphaned by the death of her mother and left in the hands of a sadistic foster parent, young Cupcake Brown learned to survive by turning tricks, downing hard liquor, and ingesting every drug she could find while hitchhiking up and down the California coast. She stumbled into gangbanging, drug dealing, hustling, prostitution, theft, and, eventually, the best scam of all: a series of 9-to-5 jobs.
