🇪🇸 Este vídeo es un pequeño homenaje a la antena diseñada y construida por Pedro EA7HNE. Gracias a su determinación y pasión por la radio, consiguió crear un producto que no solo hacía realidad una idea largamente soñada, sino que en muchos aspectos superaba a la antena en la que originalmente se inspiró. El resultado fue un sistema extraordinariamente capaz, permitiendo una adaptación continua en toda la banda de HF y soportando potencias superiores a 1 kW.
La calidad de construcción es excelente. A pesar de su robustez, basada en un cilindro macizo de aluminio, la antena sigue siendo sorprendentemente ligera. El motor apenas consume unos 200 mA y su velocidad puede regularse para lograr una sintonía precisa.
Como toda vertical eficiente, necesita un buen plano de tierra o una adecuada malla de radiales para ofrecer su máximo rendimiento. Pero si el espacio solo permite instalar una única antena y se necesita cobertura total en HF, sus casi 4 metros de altura la convierten sin duda en una solución magnífica y muy versátil.
Por encima de todo, esta antena refleja el ingenio, la perseverancia y la pasión de Pedro por la radio.

Through his determination and passion, he managed to create a product that not only fulfilled a long-held dream, but in many ways surpassed the antenna that originally inspired it. The result was a remarkably capable system, offering continuous tuning across the entire HF spectrum while handling power levels well above 1 kW.
The build quality is outstanding. Despite its robust construction, based around a solid aluminum cylinder, the antenna remains surprisingly lightweight. The motor draws only around 200 mA, and its speed can be adjusted for precise tuning.
Like any efficient vertical antenna, it benefits greatly from a proper ground plane or a well-designed radial field in order to deliver its full potential. But if space only allows for a single antenna installation and wide HF coverage is required, its nearly 4-meter height makes it an excellent all-around solution.
Above all, this antenna reflects Pedro’s ingenuity, persistence, and love for radio.
