Suspicions arose over the unannounced Scream 5 Cast recently, after Courteney Cox and David Arquette were both followed on Twitter by Scream 5 Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillette.

This isn't any sort of official Scream 5 news, but it is overwhelmingly indicative that the BIG 3 are indeed involved with the new Scream movie, and they're all palling around on social media. Of course the directors could just be trolling us. But I think it's more fun to conjecture that they are involved in the project and that the cast announcement is imminent.
This doesn't exclude any Neve Campbell Scream 5 involvement, as the actress doesn't, have an official twitter account. So if Cox and Arquette are on board, she will likely be joining them.
Side note, Matt also followed Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart at the same time as Cox and Arquette, so could they also be possible Scream 5 cast members? Just something to think about for future updates.
If this does mean the trio are in it to win it, there is still no indication as to what the extent of their roles might be. We already know that original Scream writer and creator Kevin Williamson is attached as an executive producer, and likely providing the script as well. So I think he would include the characters he created, rather than see his franchise get handled by somebody who doesn't understand it.
