Hello, A-Sven-gers! Thanks for checking out my video on playing scratched disc backwards compatible games on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X! When testing out scratched discs with known issues I found that because the disc only acts as a license key for downloading a backwards compatible game from the Microsoft Store, I found that the same scratched disc can provide the license to operate the digital download of the game - therefore, as long as your Xbox console can detect the game, you can play the digital downloaded game without issue!
This backwards compatibility is available for all disc models of the Xbox One (original Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X) as well as the Xbox Series X.
