Learn how to make your own handmade quick and easy quilted fabric hearts or stars Christmas tree ornaments using this quick and easy step by step sewing tutorial. With pinked edges, these simple homemade decorations are made from fabric scraps or strips and felt or cotton batting so they are a great way to use up some of your sewing stash AND make something for your Christmas tree. Or use red, white, and blue fabrics to make Americana or patriotic scrappy stars or pinks and reds for Valentine's Day decorations! Project makes four scrappy star or heart ornaments each measuring approximately 4” x 5”.
