***********************MEASUREMENTS FOR THE BOX PLATFORM**********************
Make 2:
Cut 110# Cardstock 11" x 7"
Score 1" around all sides of cardstock
Cut tabs to form box
For top of box measure in about 2-1/2" from long side and in the middle punch a hole to thread fairy lights through. For this project, a 45 light strand was used.
Start with the smallest house-cut 2 pieces attach only one side.
Hot glue one light in each window-when complete-attach bottom of house.
Next-use the large house. Cut two pieces attach only one side. Glue a light
in each window of the house. Finish house and glue on bottom. You will now have two house attached to the fairy lights and the top of the bottom platform box.
Last-use the medium house. You will need to leave one light between the boxes. This allows you to position the houses correctly on top of the platform box. Otherwise, you wil not be able to attach it correctly.
Cut the medium house and attach one side only. Hot glue 3 light on each panel. You will have one window on each panel that does not have a light. Finish house and attach bottom. Now position the three houses on top of the box platform and hot glue.
Finish and decorate as desired.
