Looking for an easy way to use up your patterned paper stash? This beginner-friendly card design puts the paper front and centre and is easy to recreate with all kinds of colours, patterns and embellishments.

For my card, I’m featuring the beautiful Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper, with simple Gold Foil butterflies and ribbon to finish it off.

SUPPLIES
Sentiment: Sentiment of your choice
Cardstock: Peaceful Pine, Basic Beige, Basic White
Specialty Paper: Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil Sheets
Dies: Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies (or any die cuts you choose to embellish your card)
Embellishments: ribbon and/or gems of your choice

MEASUREMENTS
• Peaceful Pine A2 card base: 5½" × 8½" (score at 4¼" on the 8½" side)
• Basic Beige: 4⅛" × 5⅜"
• Basic White: 4⅛" × 5⅜"
• Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP: 2¼" × 5¼"
• Velvet Meadow Specialty DSP: 1½" × 5¼" (cut 3)

PREP WORK
Die cut small butterflies from Gold Foil Sheets using the Butterfly Flight dies, or choose die cuts from your stash to embellish your card.
