$Scrapbook Process: We Are Awesome for the Mix It Up Monday Hop Scrapbook process video of my 12x12 mixed media scrapbook layout created for the Mix It Up Monday hop. The premise of this hop is to take a traditional scrapbook sketch and mix it up by creating a mixed media layout from it. The sketch we are using for this hop has been designed by Rochelle Spears. {You can find all the details and this months participants below} I took the opportunity to do some stash-busting on this page and used a variety of items and brands from my stash. In addition to that, I also used lots of different media and techniques - acrylic paint, Distress Oxide, stamping, gauze, acetate, pencil, wire, staples...the list goes on! I call this style girly grunge and it was perfect for the cheeky selfies of my daughter and I. ** ALL THE DETAILS ** Welcome to Mix It Up Monday – a Social Media hop where we share projects that MIX IT UP! We’re mixing up a traditional scrapbook layout with some different types of media such as texture paste, foil, paint, ink, spray, gesso, thread, stitching, in fact, the SKY is the limit!
