Hellooooo everyone I hope you’re having fun and staying safe. I’ve wanted to do something with these two for many months but I kept pushing it off for the “perfect” video. And then I remembered that's not how perfect videos get made! Plus there's so much to say about these two, I hope this video is just a glimpse into their complexity.
Truthfully I've been working on something much bigger and more dramatic, but then @Shainira dropped a gorgeous video for The Untamed and I was obsessed with the song and her approach. You can check it out here: youtube.com/watch?v=N_goTmZ9GaI. Next thing I knew I had something to show for it not 24 hours later! Here's hoping it survives at least a day before [redacted] gets their grubby hands on the copyright.
As for the video itself, I found myself gravitating toward the later seasons. There's a lot of weight and age added to their relationship in the back half, like they start to grow apart. So I wanted to dig into those unspoken words, the phantom limbs.
This is probably the last thing I'll release before the new year, so I'll see you in 2021 clowns ❤️️
