@scottlaaa claims that i cut up the silver car in the roundabout thinking that the following applies:
1) @scottlaaa thinks that left lane traffic can turn right to 4th exit at 3 oflock on a roundabout without a right arrow or sign on approach.
Correct: by default, any left lane without right arrows cannot go beyond 12 oclock, in this instance, 2nd/3rd exit 3rd is technically 12 oclock exit, however it goes back onto the road we came from, so 2nd exit would be the last exit they could go, which confirmed with all the lane markings.
2) @scottlaaa thinks that upon entering a spiral roundabout, the traffic need to follow the lines that direct traffic off the roundabout instead of following the lines that direct traffic towards centre of a roundabout.
Correct: on a spiral roundabout, when a traffic enters the roundabout, always follow the the lane lines that direct traffic towards the centre. So when you see a lane line splitting into two upon joining roundabout, you have to follow the lane lines to the right. Otherwise you would be changing lanes as the lane lines that goes to the left are for the traffic that’s already on the roundabout, not those joining.
3) @scottlaaa thinks that i needed to enter middle lane when joining the roundabout and not going into the newly formed right turn lane.
Correct: on a spiral roundabout, the right most lane often will be directed to use the newly formed lane in the centre of the roundabout. That’s why it’s called spiral roundabout. As new lane forms for traffic joining the roundabout and the next exit, the lanes leave the roundabout migrating traffic away from the spiral roundabout.
3) @scottlaaa thinks that when you go past an exit of a spiral roundabout, you follow the lane lines that directs you onto the roundabout, and not the lane lines that direct you off the roundabout.
Correct: in a spiral roundabout, when there’s a lane line that directs you off the roundabout, you have to follow it off the roundabout if you are not the traffic joining the roundabout.
Every step of the way @scottlaaa got it wrong and keeps trolling. It’s a shock that this guy claims he drives a bus, he is a danger to other road users, he probably does what the silver car does cutting others up and claiming he didnt do anything wrong.
