A Day in the life of an artist. When I'm not painting!
Was keen to see the spectacular hand laid gold leaf frame around my latest painting to be submitted for the aspect prize. The video shows me leaving my painting studio at my house in Glasgow, going to Ian Kenny framing in Larkhall where my painting "Skye Crofts" awaited my arrival. Some great banter from prize winning framer and motorbike enthusiast, Craig (although most had to be censored!). Both framers, Craig and Andrew were recently awarded runner up in the UK National Fine Art Trade Guild framing awards 2010.
Just getting to grips with better video editing and having fun with time mapping in adobe after effects.
