Scott Callahan was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) nine years ago and admits that coping with the disease can be an ongoing challenge. He is extremely grateful for the team of physical and occupational therapists at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena who help him manage his condition. According to Callahan, he goes in every eight months or so to have a tune-up. During his therapy sessions, the therapists help him retrain his brain to communicate with his body for the desired result. Thanks to ongoing therapy, Callahan is still able to do most of the things he enjoys like hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Learn more at mymichigan.org/rehab.
