We are going to explore our divine connection with Nature and the Cosmos as revealed through the lens of Sacred Geometry. The entire Universe is interwoven with the Golden Mean number system, also now known as Nature’s lingua franca, which ties the macrocosm to the microcosm and everything in between.
A core feature of Scott and Melodi approach has been total immersion in Nature’s patterns that reach from the structure of the Cosmos itself fractalizing with self-similarity from galaxies and solar systems down through flora and fauna, all the way down to the quarks. They will discuss how they accomplish this; by a careful study and analysis what they call total a immersion within the objects of Nature - or “divine working”, which was an ancient technique for the transformation of consciousness by achieving resonant identification with the Divine energies present throughout nature and the cosmos.
These ratios and proportions which appear to govern all of nature, considered by some to be nothing less than sacred, may be accessed through a variety of methods. These include geometric constructions (whether drawing, painting, sculpting, model building or architecture); contemplation of nature’s forms (flowers may be the most obvious, but plants in general, animals, minerals, beauty of the human form, and microscopic or telescopic observations); listening to or creating harmonic sounds (music, singing, chanting of words and names, or drumming); and even visualization of harmonic ratios.
Scott Olsen, Ph.D.: is professor emeritus of philosophy & religion at the College of Central Florida. A lifelong student of the ancient wisdom, Scott was mentored by esotericist Dr. Douglas Baker, for whom he did research while studying at the University of London, Birkbeck College. He also studied and collaborated with geometer/authors Keith Critchlow, John Michell and Dan Pedoe, physicists David Bohm and Mohamed El Naschie, philosopher of religion Huston Smith, mathematician Alexey Stakhov, and astronaut/mystic Edgar Mitchell. A national lecturer for the Theosophical Society in America, the Foundation for Theosophical Studies in the UK, and regular international speaker for the New York Open Center’s Esoteric Quests, Scott lectures widely on the perennial philosophy with special emphasis on Plato, the golden mean and transformative states of consciousness. Scott is the author of the award-winning international bestseller, The Golden Section: Nature’s Greatest Secret (now in nine languages). An avid collector of shamanic visionary art, he authored Mysteries of the Amazon: Visionary Artwork of Pablo Amaringo and His Students, and has curated several gallery exhibitions in Florida, Connecticut and Washington. His new book written in collaboration with physicists Mohamed El Naschie, Leila Marek-Crnjac and Ji-Huan He has just been published in October 2021, A Grand Unification of the Sciences, Arts & Consciousness: Rediscovering the Pythagorean Plato’s Golden Mean Number System.
Melodi Simay Acar, MSc.: Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she decided to be an architect at the age of 12, graduating from Istanbul Technical University in 2007. Melodi’s career began in Tokyo, Japan with an Oriental Consulting Design Department. Knowing the significance of bio-inspiration, she focused on kinetic and adaptable structures. In 2012, set up an atelier called Harekethane and design workshops for students ages 7 to 93. In 2018, she founded Kinetikhane Arch an engineering firm, funded by TUBITAK for research and development projects on self-patented structural systems. Fascinated by kaleidoscopes as a youngster, Melodi has been observing Nature's Principles and Sacred Geometry as a Harmony Researcher for over 20 years. Recently, she completed EDE (Ecovillage Design Education) leaded by GEN(Global Ecovillage Network) and Gaia University and certificated as a Sustainable Designer. Now, on the journey of being a Real Design Scientist by BFI (Buckminster Fuller Institute) and HabRitual.
