The Scorpion Armored Personnel Carrier is a Mine Resistant Ambush Protection vehicle, which has been designed for tactical response teams and can be configured in a multitude of military applications. The advanced design of the Scorpion APC, which includes a high ground clearance and acute turning circle, allows for a superior off-road capability. The vehicle is fully armored to STANAG 4569 Level 2 and is able to withstand ballistic threats as well as land mine and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) attacks. Vehicles components such as suspension, brake systems have been designed and tested to ensure they support the full armor weight, including a full payload. The engine bay and fuel tank are also armored to protect against mobility failures in the event of an attack. The high capacity wheel and tire assembly comprise of built-in run-flats and bead lock systems. The vehicle interior can be fully customized to specific requirements which include jump seats, benches and individual bucket seats which protect personnel from under body blasts, and during high speed and off-road maneuvers. The vehicle is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -20 C to + 55 C.
