Based on the 2001 movie, Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase sees Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and the rest of Mystery Incorporated as the stars of their very own video game, how groovy! Except a mysterious figure called the Phantom Virus appears announcing they have spread their evil virus, unleashing monsters throughout the game and preventing the gang from leaving. In order to break free from the Phantom Virus's hold, they'll have to split up: Fred and Daphne will look for a trap, Velma will track down the Phantom Virus, and Shaggy and Scooby will make their way through the games levels (in exchange for a box of Scooby Snax). First up, Japan!
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase was released on the original PlayStation, with another version released on the Game Boy Advance. I'll be playing the PS1 version.
