It was another fantastic year for the second-year students in TCPID working with their mentors from Abbott to complete their projects for SciFest. This video shows the process of the students working with their mentors, researching their chosen topics, and putting together their projects.

“My favourite part was working with my mentor Paddy. I enjoyed the artwork part of the project. I enjoyed the process of making the archery game.” -Niamh

"I loved researching my project on The Beatles. I thought I knew everything about them but I learned they had the top 5 songs in the charts at one time. Marie my mentor was really enjoyable to work with and I liked getting to know her. ” -Aidan
"I enjoyed talking about The Rolling Stones! Martin was very helpful, friendly, and kind. He already knew about The Rolling Stones which was great.” -Alex
“I loved my mentor Upama and all the research we did around why we should stay active.” -Makayla
"I enjoyed learning about different cultures and food. I really enjoyed working with Lin, she was really nice and helpful. I felt very comfortable and happy!” -Alan
“I loved seeing everyone working on their projects. I loved working as a team with my mentor. Oonagh was amazing! She helped me work through everything.” -Isabel
"I think me and my mentor worked very well together. I really enjoyed doing the research and the experiment for my project.” -Aaron
