Celebrity Centre: given the British spelling to make it more "fancy", Scientology's Celebrity Centres service the rich and famous parishioners of the cult, giving them their own dedicated entrances, auditing suites, and courserooms, and assuring that they are a) treated like royalty and b) will never, ever see any of the abuses going on behind the scenes.

While aboard ship, "public" members are easy prey for "regges" (Scientology salespeople) hard-selling them the next course. Staff - with their passports confiscated and locked up - are able to be kept safely far away from any pesky non-believing relatives or friends who might be looking for them, let alone any court official or police officers looking for evidence and/or a statement.
