Researchers from the University of Bristol teamed up with Snow Business to develop eco-friendly artificial snow which has been used at the Eden Project, major festivals and shows, and in TV programmes and Hollywood films.

Thanks to STFC’s ISIS and Neutron Muon Source research facility fundamental insights into the interfacial structure of polymers and surfactants has lead to this world-leading eco-friendly artificial snow being developed.

The artificial snow is fully bio-degradable and harmless to the environment.
