This chemical reaction is similar to the elephants toothpaste science demonstration.
Similar, but different!
It uses liquid detergent, manganese dioxide and hydrogen peroxide. The manganese dioxide catalyses the hydrogen peroxide and breaks it down into water and oxygen which is the gas which produces the foam.
It is a very exothermic reaction which is why it is steaming.
Definitely don't use it as toothpaste!
