I've read a lot of science fiction lately, but for most of my life my tastes have leaned heavily towards fantasy! Here are eight sci-fi book/series recommendations that lean towards space opera, soft sci fi, and space opera. I do mention a few more well known books and recent releases here, but hopefully one or two that might be new for you.
