KITCHEN SCIENCE LAB | Science experiment with sand | What things will come to the top? @kitchensciencelab1312 | Uploaded June 2021 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
Let's repeat the preview experiment with different things. What things will come to the top?
Take any thing and put it in the bottom of the cup or container. Fill it with sand or semolina.
Cover the top and shake it up and down. No matter how dense these things are, they will rise to the top!
With each shaking, grains of sand are poured under the resting object. With each new shake, it goes up a little at a time. This is how the object is pushed to the surface, regardless of its density.
