Every day, scientists at the Nuclear and Chemical Science Division of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) tackle nuclear security and nuclear forensics challenges to make our nation and the world a safer place. They also study some of the smallest particles in our universe to find solutions to complex challenges like extreme weather events, the availability of freshwater resources, and how to sequester carbon in our soil.
