Heyoooo what's up! I hope everyone has been doing well (:
Pastels is about a very impactful day I had last June. I was in Riomaggiore in Italy, eating some dank food with my girlfriend. I honestly could've written a song about the food, but instead I wrote about my feelings #tuffdecision

Lyrics:
Pastel boats on a shining wave
All the colors I want to paint my grave
Colors that I hope I’ll leave behind
Yeah they marked me and I like to see who’s next in line
Sitting with you, sitting with you
On a bench under the sun
Stranger to misery
Sitting with you, sitting with you
All the colors fill my lungs
And we smell like Italy
But like the boats
In the shadows
When the sky turns blue to gray
Sometimes I’m dark
And I wonder
How could I ever feel this way
So I’m sorry
For doing
The things I’ve yet to do
I’m apologizing
‘Cause it’s hard
To look good next to you
I watch the boats swim across the bay
I feel alive in a summer glaze
We take a dip as our temperatures rise
Taking off a load swimming in the road with no lines
Talking with you talking with you
As the waves come one by one
And the sun drips down your face
Talking with you talking with you
Dictionaries don’t know love
Our underwater dance takes place
But like the boats
In the shadows
When the sky turns blue to gray
Sometimes I’m dark
And I wonder
How could I ever feel this way
So I’m sorry
For doing
The things I’ve yet to do
I’m apologizing
‘Cause it’s hard
To look good next to you
Could you write better songs
If you had a broken heart
Could you sing a little louder
If your world was falling apart
Could you write better songs
If you had a broken heart
Well I guess we’ll never know
I hope we never know
