Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner asks the Premier if he will impose an immediate moratorium on new gravel mining sites until an independent review is done.
Currently the province has approved 5000 mining sites to extract 13 times more gravel than the province's annual consumption, causing unnecessary ecological destruction.
