We are currently living in a revolutionary period that is similar to that of when the first smart phone was released. It is hard to remember a time when we didn't have little slabs of glass in our pockets, and soon you will feel no different talking, communicating, and working with an AI than you would any other human. The implications for what this means or society are huge. Artists are currently on strike as we speak due to new contractual agreements concerning the use of AI. While AI comes for the artists firsts, it won't finish before if affects everyone.
In this video, I explore in a a narrative one of the potential pitfalls to someone having access to an incredibly powerful artificial intelligence and what we might have to do as a society when suddenly, everyone has access to that power. Can humans be trusted with AI? Do we have to give up our privacy to let someone or something observe our every move if we get access to this power?
We have many examples of the potential horrors of AI and Deepfakes, where it goes from here, only ChatGPT knows.
