A silly real-space analogue of the famous Schrödinger's cat paradox is shown.
Here a cat wave packet propagates in two dimensions hitting a potential barrier through which it may be transmitted or reflected with equal probability. On which side is the cat after the scattering event - on the alive side or the death side?
